Re: Refund for cancelled show
HelloI’m following up after two months from the last message received by your team. I still have not received a refund for the canceled show on October 18th of last year.I don’t quite understand why it would take any organization this long to process a refund. Your previous email stated “refunds are being processed in the order received and it’s taking longer than expected”. It’s hard to believe that this is simply a delay in processing at this point because if so it’s been over a 4 month delay. Please provide either an estimated date for the refund to be processed or provide further information on the matter. On Jan 22, 2026, at 10:46 AM, Fork Film <portland@forknfilm.com> wrote:
Dear Halie,
Thank you for your email. We wanted to provide an update on your refund. Refunds are being processed in the order they were received, but the process is taking longer than expected. We understand that waiting isn’t ideal, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work through this.
While I can’t give you an exact date just yet, please know it’s a top priority for us and we are working on it. Once your refund has been processed, we’ll follow up with an update and a copy of your refund receipt. If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out, we’re happy to help!
Warmly,
Liz

Hi Halie,
Thank you for reaching out, and I sincerely apologize for the delay and the difficulty you’ve experienced while trying to get this resolved. I completely understand how frustrating this has been, especially with the timing of your dispute and the cancellation back in October.
On our end, I did not see a completed chargeback reflected in your account, which means we are still able to move forward with your refund.
I’ve gone ahead and flagged your request again with urgency to our team so we can get this resolved for you as soon as possible. If we need any additional information, I will reach out directly.
Thank you for your patience, Halie, and I truly apologize for the inconvenience this process has caused.
Best,

My name is Halie Whitfield and I am following up after some time regarding a refund I never received for a cancelled show/dinner back in October (Showing was for Twilight 10/18). After not being able to reach anyone on the Fork n Film team for some time, I filed a dispute with my bank. Unfortunately this was done prior to finally receiving an email that your team was processing a refund. At this time the dispute has been denied, therefore I’m reaching out to see if you as the merchant are still able to process the refund accordingly. Please let me know if any further information is needed.
Thank you!
