    Re: Missing confirmation RESPONSE NEEDED

    Hi Erin,

Thank you so much for your patience as we worked through this for you. I also wanted to send a huge thank you for joining us for Beauty and the Beast! We truly hope you had a magical time at the show and enjoyed being part of the experience.

I would like to sincerely apologize for the delay in getting you a concrete update regarding your refund for the canceled October show. I understand how frustrating it is to wait for communication, especially after a deadline has passed.

I have personally reached out to our finance team to expedite the status of your October refund. I am monitoring this closely and will provide you with a definitive update as soon as they confirm the transaction details on our end.

Additionally, I am looping in our New York email team to this thread. Keeping all of our communication here will help ensure you receive the fastest possible answer and that our entire team is on the same page regarding your request.

Thank you again for your incredible patience and for being a part of the Fork n' Film family. We’ll be in touch very shortly!

    Warm regards,

    Re: Missing confirmation RESPONSE NEEDED

I have received some version of this same email from multiple different people every 1-2 weeks for the last 3 months. Every time I reach out to inquire about the refund for my 4 purchased VIP tickets, I get an email stating that someone is looking into it. Spoiler alert: NO ONE EVER DOES!
When I send another email a week later, I get another response like this. I keep getting emails saying your shows are sold out. At $200-300 per person multiple nights each week, why can I not get my refund?? I paid for flights and hotels to bring my daughters to New York to see the Nightmare Before Christmas. Not only did we not get to see it, I was out hundreds of dollars for the trip because we received 3 days notice of cancellation.
I used the free tickets to see Beauty & The Beast which took place in a crowded, noisy bar during an NFL game. Who thought that was a good idea?
I have seen numerous Fork n Film shows and this interaction makes me not want to ever purchase another ticket. This is incredibly disappointing.

    Hi Erin,

I am so incredibly sorry. Reading your message, it is clear that our previous responses have felt like a broken record, and I hear how exhausting that has been for you. I sincerely apologize that the follow-up I promised in my last note didn't result in the immediate resolution you deserve.

I also want to acknowledge the personal side of this. I know the cancellation affected much more than just the tickets; it impacted the flights, hotels, and the special trip you planned for your daughters. Hearing that the Beauty and the Beast experience was also a noisy, disappointing environment only adds to how badly I feel about this entire situation.

Please know that I am staying on this thread personally to get you the actual results you’ve been waiting for. I am working directly with our team right now to push through the refund for your 4 VIP tickets and ensure this finally gets the manual override it clearly needs. You have been so patient with us through this "spoiler alert" cycle, and I am committed to staying on top of this until it is fully resolved.

Another week has gone by with only a ChatGPT worded email of apology and an empty promise of a solution. It has been over 3 months since my tickets were cancelled with zero notice and I still have not received my refund. You are holding events almost every weekend and charging people $200-300 a seat, there is NO reason why I should not have gotten my money. I will be reporting this as fraud with the company I used to purchase the tickets, you can give your useless excuses to them. I will also be going sharing my experience on social media and review sites so that everyone will know what they are getting into with your company. I have given you more than enough time to remedy this situation and I have had enough.

    Re: Missing confirmation RESPONSE NEEDED

    Hi Erin,

I hear you clearly, and I understand why you’ve reached the point of reporting this as fraud. After three months and several apologies that haven't resulted in your money being returned, your frustration is entirely justified.

I am not going to offer more excuses or ask for further patience. I recognize that at this stage, only the receipt of your refund matters. I am taking this directly to our finance leadership to force a manual override for your 4 VIP tickets.

I will stay on this personally until I have the confirmation of the transaction to send to you.

    Sincerely,
    Sam

If my ticket purchase went through (12 days ago) then it shouldn’t be an issue to send my confirmation. Re: Missing confirmation RESPONSE NEEDED

I want a working phone number and I want whoever is in charge of this scam of a "company." I don't want a chatGPT fake email of apology. I want answers, contact info to a real person and confirmation that my refund has been processed. I know it's possible because an event I attended in December of 2024 was canceled for a gas leak and the refund was processed the same day. I have contacted the payment site I used, my credit card company and the Federal Trade Commission. My next option is to start showing up at Fork n' Film events so I can talk to a real person. You are still holding events and taking in money so you should be able to pay me back. I want it done IMMEDIATELY!

I will be reporting this as fraud with the company I used to purchase the tickets, you can give your useless excuses to them. I will also be going sharing my experience on social media and review sites so that everyone will know what they are getting into with your company.

    Hi Erin,

I am so sorry for the continued lack of response and for the anxiety this is causing. That is absolutely not how we want you to feel.

I am looking into both the missing confirmation for your December 4th purchase and the status of your October refund immediately. I will get back to you with a concrete update on both items by the end of the day tomorrow.

Thank you for your patience while I sort this out.

    Warmly,
    Liz

I’m following up on this email for the THIRD time. I haven’t received a confirmation for the tickets I purchased on December 4th and I haven’t received a refund for the canceled show in October.
I need a response ASAP. I’m starting to get concerned that I am being scammed by this company. If my ticket purchase went through (12 days ago) then it shouldn’t be an issue to send my confirmation. I was told to be patient with the refund but it is going on 2 months and I don’t think it’s asking too much to get an update.

I sent this email several days ago and have not received a response. I never got a confirmation email for the January 17 tickets I purchased (see below).
I’m also awaiting a refund from October and have not received an update since November 28.
