    Hi ChiQuitta,

I am so sorry to hear about your medical emergency and the surgery. That sounds incredibly painful and definitely puts a damper on holiday plans. I completely understand why you can't travel.

I'm flagging this for immediate review with our team to see what exception we can make given this unforeseen situation. We'll get back to you as soon as possible with next steps.

What I can definitely provide for you is a coupon credit which does not expire so you can book whenever you are well.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Best,

    Dear Fork & Film Team,

I am writing regarding my ticket for The Grinch dinner and movie experience scheduled for December 23, 2025 at 8:30 PM in Brooklyn.

I purchased this ticket earlier today, as this event was meant to be part of my Christmas plans and a gift to myself. Unfortunately, just a few hours after booking, I experienced a sudden and serious medical emergency that has completely changed my ability to travel or attend.

At 1:40 PM today, I was seen urgently by my podiatrist due to severe swelling and pain in my left toe. I was diagnosed with a significant infection, and my toenail had to be surgically removed. I have been placed in a surgical boot and advised that I will have limited mobility for at least 10–12 days, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for December 22. Given the pain, mobility restrictions, and winter weather conditions, I will not be able to safely travel to New York City or attend the event.

I fully understand your stated policy regarding refunds, transfers, and resale. However, this was a same-day purchase followed by an entirely unforeseen medical emergency, and I am reaching out in good faith to ask if an exception can be made under these circumstances.

I had been genuinely looking forward to this experience and would love to attend a Fork & Film event in the future when I am physically able. I hope you might consider a refund, credit, or other reasonable accommodation as a gesture of goodwill in light of this situation.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and for your consideration. I would be happy to provide medical documentation if needed.

    Warm regards,
    ChiQuitta Williams
