Subject: Refund request - duplicate purchase
To: Fork n' Film Los Angeles <losangeles@forknfilm.com>, Fork n' Film <info@forknfilm.com>Hello Fork n Film Team,
I am following up regarding a purchase made on January 2nd at 12:02 AM (Arizona time) that needs to be corrected. Since I re-purchased the correct location on the same day right after (as you can see on your end), I am just requesting a refund not change in location since I now have the correct location and this is a duplicate.
My family, friends, and I truly love the Fork n Film concept and are frequent patrons. We have spent thousands of dollars with your organization recently, and I want to emphasize that this message is sent in good faith and with appreciation for what you do.
Within the past 24 hours prior to the issue, I had been on my phone purchasing multiple Fork n Film tickets for myself for the Scottsdale location. At checkout, it appeared on my end that I was purchasing tickets for the Scottsdale Shrek Fork n Film event on 3/13. However, when I received the invoice, I noticed it listed Los Angeles instead. I was only on the Scottsdale events calendar.
I immediately contacted Fork n Film to request a correction. To demonstrate good faith and ensure I had the correct tickets, I went ahead and repurchased tickets for the correct Scottsdale location.
Over the past few weeks, I have purchased tickets for four different shows (Elf, The Little Mermaid, Shrek, and Beauty & the Beast).
Because the Los Angeles purchase was for the wrong location, my credit card company flagged it as potential fraud.
While I am able to place this charge into dispute, I would much prefer to resolve this directly with your organization and receive a refund for the incorrect location. I strongly believe in your product and would also prefer that someone in Los Angeles be able to use those tickets rather than them going unused if I dispute. Resolving this on your end would further build trust between us and reinforce my confidence in your organization.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I truly appreciate your help in resolving this matter.
If you truly cannot refund it on your end from a technology standpoint, if you want provide a free code (like the ones you advertise you send via email), I was going to buy a another fork n film but wanted to see how this was handled first and could use the free code to checkout for that. Please let me know today re:refund; otherwis, will be just place dispute. Thank you.
