Ok enough is enough. It's been weeks since my refund has been "escalated" and I haven't heard a word back from anyone! The event was in February, it's the end of March and I still don't have a refund for a cancellation of "unexplained circumstances". What are the circumstances for keeping my money. I will absolutely take this to social media and detir anyone thinking of buying tickets to not even bother since this is terrible customer service and practices.I want an answer ASAP. Re: Fork n' Film San Francisco Reservation - Important Announcement
Hi Gabriela,
I hear you, and I completely understand why your patience has run out. Given that this has been pending since February, your frustration is entirely justified, and I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication you've experienced during this wait.
I want to be transparent about what is happening behind the scenes: I have officially escalated your refund request again today. The primary reason for the delay is that we are a very small team manually processing these refunds in batches. We do this to ensure every transaction is handled with total accuracy, but I realize that this manual pace has created an unacceptable delay for you.
Please know that your message has been heard, and we are not intentionally withholding information or your funds. I am personally tracking your status to ensure this doesn't slip through the cracks again. I will reach out to you the moment I have a concrete update or the refund receipt in hand.
Thank you for your honesty, and I am committed to getting this resolved for you.Warm regards,SamOn Tue, Mar 31, 2026 at 3:36 PM Gabs A <gabrielaarroyo1@gmail.com> wrote:Ok enough is enough. Sam,I appreciate the update. I am a first responder I live short staffing, however, if your company is going to open venues all across the country they need to staff it properly. Not just take hundreds of dollars from their consumers, not deliver on promised products, and then withhold funds for months on end. They leave you to deal with the fallout of their issues. Correct? How many cancellations did they have in Feb for this event? That's concerning. This would have been our second time with fork and film. Hi Gabriela,
I want to start by saying I truly understand where you are coming from. First, thank you so much for the work you do as a first responder. I know you understand the importance of reliability and proper staffing better than anyone. It’s incredibly frustrating when those standards aren't met, and I really appreciate your patience and understanding despite that.
I truly wish there was more I could do personally to make this entire process easier for you right now. It is deeply disheartening to hear that this experience has tarnished your view of us, especially after you traveled all the way to Vegas for a previous event.
Please know that I am truly doing my best to get this finalized for you as quickly as the system allows. I am advocating for your refund every day and pushing to get this resolved so you aren't left waiting a moment longer.
I'll be in touch the very second I have an update for you. I want to sincerely apologize for the last-minute cancellation. We know how much anticipation and planning go into a special night out, and we’re truly sorry for the disruption this caused.
Please know this decision was made only after every possible option was considered. We completely understand your decision not to reschedule and are happy to accommodate your refund request.
Refunds may take a little longer than usual as we’re currently managing a high volume, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated along the way.
If you change your mind and would like to reschedule your tickets for another event, we’d be happy to offer a complimentary VIP upgrade as a gesture of appreciation.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to help.
We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you at Fork n’ Film in the future.
Warm regards,
Alex

I am so incredibly sorry for the silence and for the frustration of seeing promotions while you are still waiting for your money. I completely understand why that feels discouraging, and I sincerely apologize for the lack of updates on your refund.
I am following up once again with our finance lead right now to get an immediate status update for you. I want to ensure this doesn't slip through the cracks again and that we get this resolved as quickly as possible.
I will stay on top of this and reach out the moment I have more information.
Thank you again for your grace and for hanging in there with me.Warm regards,SamCustomer SupportOn Thu, Apr 2, 2026 at 2:18 PM Gabs A <gabrielaarroyo1@gmail.com> wrote:Sam,I appreciate the update. Last time we traveled to Vegas for an event but honestly after this experience I'm not sure I would do this again.Gabriela ArroyoOn Thu, Apr 2, 2026, 12:04 PM Fork Film <sanfrancisco@forknfilm.com> wrote:Hi Gabriela,
I hear you, and I completely understand why your patience has run out.
Someone needs to reach out. I'm done being patient. On Thu, Mar 12, 2026, 12:46 PM Fork Film <sanfrancisco@forknfilm.com> wrote:Hi Gabriela,

We appreciate your patience while we resolve this for you.
