    Dear Tempe Fork N Film,

    My name is Adan Montijo, and I am writing to follow up on a pending refund for the canceled showing of Ratatouille scheduled for January 10.

    I purchased two tickets on December 31 to celebrate my wife’s birthday. After the event was canceled, we were asked to reschedule; however, we were unable to do so as we live out of town. In addition to the ticket costs, the cancellation resulted in a lost hotel deposit and non-refundable childcare expenses.

    Between January 5 and February 17, I was advised that a refund would be issued. I have since followed up on April 10 but have not received a response or the funds. Given the significant delay and the inconvenience caused, I am requesting a full refund of $409.98, as well as complimentary passes to a future event as compensation.

    My wife and I would prefer to resolve this matter amicably and avoid pursuing legal action. I look forward to receiving a response within the next few days to confirm that the refund has been processed.
