FORMAL REFUND REQUEST: FAILURE TO PROVIDE SERVICES

    Hi,

I hope this email finds you well. Please note this will be my last attempt to reach someone regarding the Fork N Film event that was cancelled Memorial Day weekend. I have sent numerous emails and chats on your website regarding this issue and even flagged them as urgent, to which no one has responded. Failure to respond to this email will result in me taking action to dispute the charges on my credit card for failure to provide goods promised.

As your policy states, when you cancel an event a voucher will be provided for a future event or a refund can be issued if the customer prefers the refund. In my case, no one from Fork N Film asked me what my preference was. You just gave me a voucher without any input from me. If you had, I would have told you that I do not live in a city where Fork N Film regularly hosts events and I specifically went to NYC Memorial Day weekend because of Fork N Film, it is what brought me to NYC in the first place. I tried to rebook another show this past weekend I was there, but your voucher did not cover the entire cost of the event and you shut off the sales for the weekend preventing me from doing so.  I will not be making that mistake again, and I will not waste money planning another trip to NYC or a city you are in to claim this voucher you are trying to force on me. The costs of planning another hotel, food, and transportation is not worth the trouble. I have already explained this in my previous communication attempts, which you have ignored. Again, I am formally requesting a refund and just want my money back.

If someone could please help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it. I look forward to seeing how you will handle this situation. Thank you.

    Thank you,
    Brandon Roque

Re: FORMAL REFUND REQUEST: FAILURE TO PROVIDE SERVICES

    Hi Brandon,

Thank you for reaching out, and please accept our sincerest apologies for the delay in getting back to you, as well as for the immense frustration this situation has caused. We have been experiencing a very high volume of requests, but that is no excuse for leaving you hanging, especially after you traveled all the way to NYC for our event.

We completely understand your situation and where you are coming from. Forcing a voucher on you when you don't live near one of our regular cities is absolutely not how we want to handle things, and we want to make this right.

As requested, I have initiated the full refund process for your tickets. I will monitor this closely and follow up with you with a direct confirmation as soon as it has finished processing.

Thank you for your patience and for giving us the chance to resolve this for you.

    Warm Regards,
    Sam

Re: FORMAL REFUND REQUEST: FAILURE TO PROVIDE SERVICES

    Hi Sam,

Thank you for finally getting back to me. I am extremely frustrated that all of this could have been avoided had someone just monitored this mailbox and responded to my email prior to my arrival, but there is nothing we can do about that now.

It has since been almost two weeks since you emailed me that you would be initiating the refund process, and I have, yet again, received no updates and no refund. This is not right and not an appropriate way to do business again. I am pushing over disputing the charge on my credit card and wasting valuable time because you promised me a refund, so I need to know what is going on and I need to know now.

At this point, I am going to give this until next and if I do not receive a response from you I will then be initiating the dispute to my credit card company. The ball is in Fork N Film's court, you guys need to update and figure out what is going on with this refund or I will try to get my money back in a different way. I hope you understand.

If you could please let me know and provide some sort of update, I would greatly appreciate it. I look forward to seeing how you will handle this situation. Thank you.

    Thank you,
    Brandon Roque
