Important: Showtime Change for Your Fork n' Film Reservation

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing as a follow-up to my previous correspondence regarding the ongoing changes and communication issues associated with my reservation.

Since my initial purchase at the beginning of the year, there has been one change after another affecting the event I originally reserved. I have made every effort to accommodate the modifications requested by your organization, including changing both the film selection and event date when asked to do so. As a result, what was originally scheduled for the beginning of the year has now extended over a six-month period.

In addition to the scheduling changes, I have experienced ongoing communication issues. On May 12, I contacted your team regarding a menu request. While I received a response the same day, I replied promptly and have never received confirmation that my request was approved or processed. Since June 1, I have continued attempting to reach your team through text messages and other communications seeking clarification, but I have not received the responses necessary to resolve these outstanding questions.

Most recently, I received an email notifying me that the scheduled 1:30 PM showing had been moved to 6:30 PM. I immediately replied to explain my circumstances and request guidance; however, I have not received a response.

This latest change presents a significant challenge. My daughter is traveling from New Jersey specifically to attend the 1:30 PM showing. Because the event time was changed after arrangements had already been made, she is unable to attend the newly scheduled 6:30 PM showing due to prior commitments and her limited time in California.

At this point, I have repeatedly adjusted my plans to accommodate changes made by your organization, yet I continue to encounter cancellations, schedule modifications, unanswered inquiries, and a lack of follow-up regarding outstanding requests. I respectfully ask for a prompt response outlining what accommodations or alternatives are available and how these issues can be resolved.

I would appreciate clear communication regarding my reservation, the status of my menu request, and the options available to me in light of the most recent showtime change.

It’s been six months since and I keep having to accommodate all the changes you have made. My daughter is traveling on that day of the event from New Jersey to attend the 1:30pm show.  Unfortunately, she cannot attend the 6:30 PM show as she has other arrangements. She will only be in California until the 20th. So now what are my options? Please do not say a refund as I have been enduring all these changes and been accommodating you for the past six months.

I have successfully moved your reservation to the Sunday, June 14th showing at 1:30 PM. I have also made a note to provide one vegan meal for your daughter as requested.

Regarding the venue, the location is the same as the Saturday show:

If the Saturday evening showtime at 6:30 PM does not work for your schedule, we would like to offer the following alternatives for this weekend:

  - Sunday at 1:30 PM
  - Sunday at 6:30 PM

Regarding your menu request from May 12th, please note that we typically do not provide confirmation for specific menu items as we prefer to maintain an element of surprise for our guests. However, if there are any specific allergies we should be aware of, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate them.

Please let us know if either of these Sunday options would be a better fit for you and your daughter. Thank you for your continued patience and for accommodating these changes.
