    Re: Correct email

I was never notified of any cancellation or any information so it was a surprise when myself and my entire party of eight showed up and doors were locked and two people were standing outside saying there is no-show and they had received a cancellation email. I look through my spam email I regular email and there was no cancellation email whatsoever. I had my tickets ready to go with the barcode.

I understand that you have an abundance of cancellation refunds. I would like  an estimated time of when I will receive  the payment back to my account.

    Thank you

    Hello Katee,

Thank you for reaching out, and we sincerely apologize for the delay in communication.

We were very sorry to learn that you traveled from California specifically to attend this event. We can only imagine how frustrating and disappointing it must have been to arrive at the venue and find the doors locked, especially after making travel plans around the experience.

We did send a cancellation notice to all guests prior to the event. However, we are truly sorry that you did not receive that communication. Unfortunately, we are unsure why the notification did not reach you, but we understand this does not lessen the inconvenience and disappointment you experienced.

At this time, Fork n' Film is no longer affiliated with the Hoku venue. We understand this situation fell far short of the experience you expected, and we sincerely apologize for that.

We will issue a full refund for your reservation. Please note that due to high volume, refunds are currently taking longer than expected to process. We sincerely apologize for the delay and appreciate your understanding. Our team is actively working through all outstanding refunds as quickly as possible. Once your refund is complete, we will email you a confirmation along with your refund receipt.

Again, we are deeply sorry for the inconvenience, especially given the travel involved. We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to make this right.

If you have any further questions, please email our team at portland@forknfilm.com and we'd be CJ to assist you. I've copied them on this email for your convenience.

    Warmly,
    Esperanza

We bought tickets to attend Work and film Lilo and stitch for Saturday, May 23. We showed up to the venue and the doors were locked and no fork and film offered with people lined up trying to figure out what was going on. Please refund us our money.
The expectation is that you will get back to us and let us know when we will expect our refund
We flew from California just for this event
