Important Update Regarding Your Fork n’ Film Reservation

    Hello JO,

We’re reaching out with an important update regarding your upcoming Fork n’ Film reservation.

Unfortunately, your originally scheduled show has been canceled. We sincerely apologize for the change and any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause. We know many of our guests make special plans around attending Fork n’ Film, and we’re very sorry for the unexpected change.

We’re able to reschedule your reservation to Hocus Pocus on October 25th at 1:30 PM. Please reply to this email as soon as possible to confirm if you’ll be able to attend, so our team can secure your reservation for this show.

At this time, this is the only showtime we’re able to offer for rescheduling. We highly recommend securing this date if you’re able to attend, as we do not currently have any additional showtimes confirmed. If you choose to wait, we unfortunately cannot guarantee when or if another rescheduling opportunity will become available.

Please also note that tickets remain non-refundable.

We truly appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll be able to join us for Hocus Pocus this spooky season. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

    Warmly,
    The Fork n’ Film Team

Re: Important Update Regarding Your Fork n’ Film Reservation

Hello, we’re very sorry to see that our show has been cancelled. We cannot attend the showing on October 25th. I’m concerned about the line that says “tickets remain non-refundable.” Do you mean that the tickets I bought for October 10th will not be refunded? Because you canceled on us, not the other way around, and offered us only a single showtime as an alternative. That would be straight up robbery, so please tell me I misunderstood the original email and will be receiving a refund. Thank you.

    Sincerely,
    Joshua Conner

Re: Important Update Regarding Your Fork n’ Film Reservation

    Hello Joshua,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We completely understand why you’re asking for clarification, and we’re very sorry for the change to your original reservation and the inconvenience this has caused.

The October 25th show at 1:30 PM is now fully booked. However, we have added a 6:30 PM show that same day, and we’d be happy to reschedule your reservation to Hocus Pocus on October 25th at 6:30 PM.

At this time, October 25th at 6:30 PM is the only rescheduling option we’re able to offer for your tickets. If you’re able to attend, we encourage you to confirm as soon as possible so we can secure your reservation. Unfortunately, we’re unable to transfer the tickets to a different or future show, so we highly recommend securing the October 25th show if it works for you and your guest.

If you’re able to attend, please reply to confirm as soon as possible, and we’ll be happy to secure your reservation for the 6:30 PM show.

We sincerely apologize again for the change in plans and appreciate your understanding.

    Warmly,
    The Fork n’ Film Team

Re: Important Update Regarding Your Fork n’ Film Reservation

Hello, unfortunately we cannot attend any shows on the 25th. I've looked on your website and found that your refund policy for canceled events states that "If Fork n Film cancels an event and the event does not take place, the ticket price will be refunded to the original payment method." I'm not sure why you stated that there are no refunds, but per your own policy, I want a refund for our tickets since you canceled the event. And since I am concerned about the misinformation and the attempts to deflect the issue, I will also say that if you do not issue a refund, I will take this to court. I was originally considering small claims court, but after researching your company and finding a large amount of people who have experienced the same problem I have where events have been canceled unexpectedly and refunds have not been issued, I am also considering a class action lawsuit. Please save us the trouble and issue our refund. I have taken dated screenshots of your policy in case you attempt to change the website, which is a shame, because I loved my first experience with Fork n Film in December, but after this, I no longer trust this company and would not take the 6:30 reservation if I could, just in case that event gets canceled as well. Once again, please refund the ticket prices to my credit card as soon as possible. Thank you.

    Sincerely,
    Josh Conner

Re: Important Update Regarding Your Fork n’ Film Reservation

Slight correction, I was going through my Zelle transactions and saw that I didn’t use a credit card to pay for the tickets, I sent cash. So please refund that cash as soon as possible. If I do not receive a refund by next Friday, October 9th, I will start laying the groundwork for a class action lawsuit. Thank you.

    Sincerely,
    Josh Conner
